Welcome to the Edwards Undergraduate Students Space

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) Program

Welcome to Edwards! You've made a great choice studying with us. We have a dedicated student advisory team which means you can book an appointment to see an advisor within a day (using our online booking system). We also offer same day drop-in service for quick questions.

Our young, vibrant faculty consistently earn prestigious teaching awards, attesting to their investment in your learning.

We offer experiential learning classes in every major and have over 100 students enroled in the co-op program, ensuring that you get the practical experience that employers are looking for.

Registering for Next Year

Registration for the 2017-18 academic year starts in June. All Edwards students are encouraged to register as soon as you can, based on your registration access date (available in PAWS under Academics/Registration).

We will hold spaces in our classes until Friday, July 7th. At that point, we will release remaining seats in 100 and 200 level classes to the university community. Open seats in most 300 and 400 level COMM classes will be released to all Edwards students (with the exception of COMM 308, 401, 402 and 447).

We have a policy of zero overrides, except for for graduating students. No override requests will be considered over the summer. Fall Term 1 override requests will be considered starting on Monday, August 28th. Review the Course Release Fact Sheet for details.

Academic Advising

Academic advising is a partnership and shared responsibility between each student and their advisor. It helps students develop an educational plan that fits their abilities, interests, personal circumstances, and career goals. Current students receive one-on-one guidance on a wide range of academic, administrative, and social concerns, as well as referrals to other college advisors and university services.

To make an appointment or view our drop-in advising schedule for Edwards students you can use our online system, call 306-966-4785 or drop by in person at the office in Room 185.
